GLYNN VIVIAN SWANSEA 'OPEN' EXHIBITION
2021 - 2025
Swansea's Glynn Vivian Art Gallery hold an annual 'Swansea Open' exhibition, consisting of the work of Swansea's finest creatives. I entered for the first time in 2021 with my painting 'Field of Wildflowers', which was selected for the exhibition.
I entered this competition yearly, up until 2025 when I submitted 'Hedge Bindweed On Clyne Common' (see gallery in Home page), which was also selected.
FIGURATIVE ART NOW
May 2021
Mall Galleries, London, held an online exhibition in 2021 for figurative art. I entered my painting 'Canada Geese in Brynmill Park', which was inspired by two Canada geese I found swimming in a pond during a visit to one of Swansea's most popular parks. It was later selected for the exhibition.
CONTEMPORARY ART GALLERY ONLINE'S 'OPEN/NO THEME' PAINTING AND DRAWING EXHIBITION 2021
October - November 2021
Contemporary Art Gallery Online have monthly online art exhibitions with various different themes e.g. 'All Botanicals' or 'All Animals'. I first entered their Open/No Theme competition in 2021 with my 'Peacock Butterfly' watercolour painting.
